Faster Boil Times
With induction, heat transfers directly to the cookware bypassing the cooktop surface, making induction incredibly fast. * 10" induction upper right burner, 6 qt./10" diameter pot, 1 qt. tepid water.
Gas Benefits, Without the Remodel
Our PowerPlus(TM) Induction Cooktop offers the speed, control, and consistency of gas, without requiring the converting of your kitchen from electric to gas.
Flexible Cooking
SpacePro(TM) Bridge Element allows you to cook two separate dishes at once, or combine elements for large pots or griddle-use.
Easy-to-Clean Cooktop
Unlike traditional electric and gas cooktops, induction only heats the pan and the food in it, so the area around the pan stays cooler, allowing you to clean up spills and splatters while you cook.
Controlled Cooking
Adjusts from a powerful boil to a gentle simmer instantly - ideal for rice, soups and sauces.
Professional-Grade Controls
Heavy-duty knobs deliver precise temperature control, whether you're simmering, saut(eback)ing, searing or boiling.
Energy Efficient Cooking
Use less energy while you cook with energy-efficient induction technology which heats the pan directly so less heat loss in the cooking process.
Compatible with most cookware
Most stainless steel and cast iron cookware is compatible with induction elements. Rule of thumb: if a magnet sticks to the bottom of the cookware, it's induction-compatible. * Pan performance may vary based on cookware material and quality.

So far the unit has been doing great but there are a few odd things you should know before you buy. 1.) There is not infinite control, its just increments of 0.5 up to 10.2.) There is a long 1-2 second delay from when you stop turning the knob to when the unit actually adjusts the power. If you turn from 10 down to 3.5 for example, it will take you about a second to get it adjusted to what you want, then it takes another 2 seconds before the unit responds for a total of 3 seconds to respond to a temp change. Touch screen units are way faster than this.3.) I haven't been able to test any other induction cooktops but this one needs a really heavy pan to put out full power. The biggest burner is limited to 1900 watts or so for a carbon steel pan or a laminated pan. I can only get more power with a heavy thick cast iron pan. 4.) My biggest burner more or less flat-lines from the 2 to 5 setting. Here is the output in watts for each setting on a cast iron skillet (measured at my electrical panel):Low - 150 watts (intermittent pulses)1.5 - 250 watts (intermittent pulses)2.0 - 350 watts (intermittent pulses)2.5 - 380 watts3.0 - 380 watts3.5 - 380 watts4.0 - 380 watts4.5 - 385 watts5.0 - 400 watts5.5 - 500 watts6.0 - 640 watts6.5 - 810 watts7.0 - 940 watts7.5 - 1075 watts8.0 - 1180 watts8.5 - 1325 watts9.0 - 1480 wattsHi - 2513 wattsPowerBoost - 3750 watts

I am blind and this unit is perfect for me. I wanted an induction cooktop with knobs and this was one of the few option available. I use bump dots so I know which buurner and temp I want, cannot do that with a toucuhpad. The bridge works great for my griddle to cook pankcake and baon. Only complaint, I wish the smallest burner was slightly larger. The induction is so much safer than the radiant. I have had this for almoth a month and love it. A little expensive, but well worth the money, I am hoping to get their matching oven when I have the funds to do so.
Great way to cook

We are new to induction cooking and we love it! It is fast, efficient and easy. In over 50 years of marriage, weâve used electric and gas ranges. Induction is by far the best.
