Bought this product as our jenn air needed to be replaced in our home. Had it only a week and can't believe how easy it scratches. We have had other ceramic flat tops and never had this issue. We are very gentle on our appliances and buy top quality. I was very upset that with our limited options for down draft flat top that kitchenaid quality is not up to pair with Jenn air. If we weren't remodelling our kitchen in two years I would have never purchased this product but would have bought anther brand.

I have had my cooktop for 3 years. I have had 2 services done on it. My stovetop must be a lemon. The last service they had to replace 2 elements and between the service call and the element replacement labor and the electric plugs that weren't covered, I had a cost was $800 and the elements were covered by Kitchenaid. This price was not acceptable to us! We only had our unit for only 3 years I feel cheated and upset!

This cooktop looks really nice and sleek. Mine has a defect and has to be replaced as bubbles appeared beneath the glass on one of the burners. The downdraft fan works very well and isnt too noisy. Only downside is that it takes a while to cool down and despite a red light indicating the surface is hot, you have to remember not to touchit or set anything on it. It does require fesidious cleaning to keep it sleek looking.
