Downdraft Ventilation

We switched from electric to gas cooktop. I am still getting used to more heat in the surrounding area even though my pot is larger than the unit itself but it is overall a great machine.

We remodeled our kitchen in April, and I replaced my Jenn-Air smooth top with this gas cooktop, and I love it!! It looks great in my black granite island. It is very easy to clean and operate. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because, I have some scratches on the stainless in the back of the unit. I think it is because I lifted the cast iron burners up instead of taking them off completely when I cleaned the unit.
