Downdraft Ventilation

I have owned this cooktop for 3 weeks. It was part of a complete kitchen update. I have not used it very much but so far love this new appliance. I spent so much time researching downdraft cooktops and also pop-up vent systems. This is what I ended up with based on features, design, and customer reviews. I wanted 5 burners and it was important to me to be able to simmer recipes. This was very difficult to accomplish with my old gas cooktop. I have no trouble simmering with this cooktop and also really like the melting burner. We feel that the downdraft is quite powerful and does a good job drawing steam. (I rarely fry, so would not know how it will work for that.) When guests first see this cooktop they have all been "wowed". Even the men. I was so excited to get this new cooktop and so far am in no way disappointed.

I bought this cooktop when I was remodeling my kitchen. I absolutely love it! It is so easy to use and maintain. My old cooktop was the same size and only had 4 burners. I love that this one has the extra 5th burner and the downdraft vent in the same amount of space. I highly recommend this cooktop!

We are doing a partial renovation in our home. This downdraft has cooktop helps bring everything up to date. Performance wise-it’s wonderful. Easy to clean and downdraft works well to keep odors and grease out of our kitchen. Well done Kitchen Aid!

Saved up for this cooktop. Have wanted to replace my old one for a long time. cooking temps are great . The cooktop is commercial grade.I cook a lot and am already enjoying the space to cook on. I had a minor issue but Kitchenaid sent service right away. They are nice to deal with.
