Convertible to Duct-Free Ventilation
Allows a downdraft cooktop to be placed nearly anywhere in the kitchen using a duct-free conversion kit (not included). This filters and recirculates the air without running ductwork, ideal for kitchens with installation restrictions or ducting limitations.
Downdraft Ventilation
Integrates the ventilation system into the cooking surface so that a separate hood is not needed. Smoke and odors can be removed and taken outside or filtered and recirculated inside. A duct-free kit is available for purchase separately.

This gas cooktop is a pleasure to use. I couldn't be happier. There is fast high heat when you need to boil a huge pot of water, or a gentle burner for cooking rice etc, and everything in between. The powerful fan has 3 speeds. It's easy to clean. You can light it with a match if the power goes out.

We love the new cooktop but there are a couple issues with it, there is no slow speed on the fan even though it has different levels on the knob so it sucks the flame over and the pilot wants to ignite we can hear it clicking all the time while cooking
