If I could give this 0 stars I would. This hood was installed by the builder in our new construction home, and it sounds like a jet engine on the lowest setting. It is virtually impossible to carry a conversation in the kitchen when it is running..on the lowest setting. Iâve lived in numerous new construction homes and have experience with many different hoods, and this is by far the worst product weâve ever used. Donât waste your money, but something else.

I bought this fan for our new house and it works great. It moves a lot of air quickly. The only drawback is it is a little loud, but we love it.

Friday I get my hood replaced for second time. Who designed a thermometer that cant be reset without replacing the unit? If you cook something hot (for me its searing a steak on this) better do it outside this unit cant handle high heat and if the unit gets hot you have to replace it. This is the equivalent of popping a breaker then needing your entire house rewired. If you have a choice, do anything but this unit. PS wonder why they will sell extended warranties on everything under the sun EXCEPT for this.
