Was replacing a very old unit, w/electric supply/entry on LEFT side. This one was set up for right-side entry. Even if electric supply was not an issue, this still is a muli-hour job. Plus, it took 2 people (and the box, for interim support), to help hold it in place while screwing the unit into the support backets. Lighting is not great. Included bulb can likely be replaced with higher-lumen, LED, but the cover panel seems to absorb a lot of the bulb brightness. Our previous unit was over 30 years old, so time will tell if this one can approach that level of reliability.

Purchased this vent hood for my camp, it came in and was exceptional inn design and the look was worthy of putting in any home. The hood took @ 1 hour to install. I haver used it several times and it has performed flawlessly. Thanks for making a great product. Also thank you Chavis Furniture in Chickasaw Alabama for have great GE products !!
