This hood has an integrated overhead light, and it is sufficiently effective. The down side: it is not that powerful, super noisy, and ugly.

We love our GE Range Hood, from the sleek style to the ease of use. Need to change out the light bam! Simple, remove the lens and replace the bulb with a common appliance bulb. Two easy to use on off switches for both the light and the fan, anyone can operate this appliance, love it!
