Replacement for a 20 year old GE hood. Working well. Wish the fan has a lower noise level even though it is similar to my older one.

This was sold as a vented hood, but GE shipped this in the recirculating configuration. The box indicated VENTED not convertible. Ship a vented hood in a default VENTED configuration. The hood is way too loud. The 40 watt light gets too hot. This hood is a decoration. I am not using it.

The unit is attractive. It took at least an hour to install by a professional. It is unbearably loud. I do not recommend this unit.
