We needed a microwave and didn't wanted want one on our countertop. I regular size undermount cabinet microwave would not have fit. We seen this one and it had the clearance from the stove that we needed. Love all the features and I am impressed with the room inside the microwave.

I just had this microwave installed and was worried about some reviews that when venting outside the house through the roof or wall, there is air leaking out the top of the microwave back into the house and should be venting outside. That’s the nice thing about having vents that can go outside. Not having to have the air pushed back inside your house. I called whirlpool and they said the installers didn’t install it correctly. I called the installers and they believe they installed it correctly. But considering the reviews that I read about the venting issues for homes that can vent outside this is a huge disappointment. I was really excited about getting this microwave installed for both venting and the sleek compact design. :( :( :(
