I replaced my 40 year old Magic Chef only because we switched from propane to natural gas. I bought another gas stove. The grates are slippery, they are too far from the saucepan - takes forever for water to boil, and the oven temperature knob is upside down. You have to kneel on the floor to see the temperature. I want my old stove back!

We replaced a 40+ year old magic chef stove finally! The Amana is the perfect fit for our very small beach cottage. Stovetop heats quickly. Haven’t tried the oven yet other than to heat something but it seems to work well. We are very happy with the purchase! I gave a 4 only because this is a basic stove- no bells or whistles.

it came with the apartment we are renting, there was no manual, or the landlord didnt leave it. i was wondering if the top lifts to clean inside? also is there any way i could order the rack that belong in the oven? works just great ! and it is easy to clean and light enough to move so i can clean around it, love it!
