We bought this range because of the air fryer and top of stove grill/griddle. The wifi was a bonus. This oven produces perfect baked bread and the air fryer gives us crispy tater tots evenly toasted across the entire shelf. The grates are huge and the knobs give it a solid look.

For touchy-feely people this appliance has the bells and whistles: confectioner, Air fryer, a Grill on top, wi-Fi connect, Black and stainless steel. But it pops loudly as it is expanding while the oven is warming up; the broiler if left on smells like something’s burning; and it’s not ping resistant (as I have a ping not 1 month after install) nor is it stain resistant (around the burners appear steel in matt finish) should be soft scrubbed immediately. And this oven raised off of floor for added cooling, will get more debris underneath. It’s too expensive to have these product concerns.

I enjoy cooking on my GE Profile gas range. There are 2 things that I have come across about this product: 1. When turning on an eye, all of the eyes ignite, but only the one you are turning on will connect. 2. The oven racks do not have a back lip to stop the dish from hitting the back wall of the oven or from dropping.

I love the features of my new GE Cafe range and have yet to explore them all. I have had various other cooking/baking appliances (mostly JennAir) as wall ovens, cooktops, slide-in convection range, electric and gas so making a choice during this kitchen renovation took on a bit of research to match the features I was looking for. This range has been a joy to cook and bake with as it has various baking/roasting/airfry choices for the oven and much better range top variation when using the burners than my previous range. Now I can actually simmer to cook rice without it burning on the bottom of the pot! I gave a 4 star ranking because the double burner burns very high on the left side and the installer explain it is not adjustable due to how the range is manufactured. Hmmm, I will still be asking GE about this. I do love everything about this range otherwise!
