This beater works well but the paint is chipping all over the paddle! I can’t find a paddle that’s not coated and don’t want paint in my baked goods. Love my mixer. Hate the coated paddle!

I love my mixer but hate the beater. I've only had the mixer for 2 years and now and looking to replace the beater. I made a cake and thought I was chewing on some eggshells but realized it was part of the beater. I was the beater was more durable.

We purchased our mixer with attachments 4-5 years ago, using the beater attachment maybe 8-10 times a year. The coating chipped off, ruining a recipe. I expected more from a KitchenAid product.

I bought my KitchenAid Mixer a few years back. My son got one with a plain flat beater and one with a scraper on one side with his purchase of a KitchenAid mixer. Wow it was so fantastic. I cannot find the Flat Beater with the scraper as an extra attachment.
