Like many others, I love my KitchenAid 5 quart Artisan, but the beater is chipping. I was all set to order a replacement, thinking it was a fluke, but now don't know what to do, as the problem seems widespread. Has the problem been resolves?

Flaking paint on the beater

I love this mixer, but the paint is flaking off the beater like crazy. I cannot use it as is so I was going to order a new one, but I see it has the same white coating as the old one I have. My mixer is probably 10-15 years old and it has had a few small spots that were coming off, but I just tried to use it after we moved and there are too many to even use it.

Why buy kitchenaid?

My mixer and bowl was free. I purchased the coated paddle. No success; chipped. My daughter loves hers but same complaint. Looked at other brands thinking of passing on my freebie and buying my own. Stainless/dishwasher parts is significant consideration. Kitchenaid. Fix the problem

Flat beater chips

I’ve used KitchenAid mixers for several years. My early tilting model did not suffer these issues. Since updating a few years ago to the pro-line, I’ve had to replace the flat beaters multiple times. They ALWAYS chip! Is KitchenAid unable to remedy this problem?

I got my mixer from my mother 30 years ago. The flat blade is chipped. Please tell me where I can get one.
