I had 2 of these kettles, and they were both recalled. The new ones are much better. They are easier to open and quieter. Glad they were recalled because the new ones are improved.

This unit was a warranty replacement because my pot was recalled. I love it the same as the first one. I love the "keep warm" button. I can start the pot and go take a shower and then steep my tea when I am done. I love that I can choose what temperature to bring the water to based on what kind of tea I am brewing. I am sad that they reduced the volume of the "all done" beep. I can barely hear it now unless I am right in the kitchen.
