This is the perfect addition to the mixer. It works wonders scraping the sides of the bowl and minimizes the amount of times you need to stop and scrape.

Old Oster system big bowl broke. Motor smelled like it would burn every time we used it! So - time for a Kitchen Aid. Had a blast making Christmas cookies! They were THE best ever- with the same recipes I’ve always used! AND- less messy! Didn’t have to scrape the bowl at all. Will be making lots more! Also really appreciated the metal, handled bowl! Saved clean-up!

Bought this a couple years ago at a local store. While I love the idea of a built in scraper....and almost love the job is does...I do not love the fact that the rubber scraper has developed cracks. Only gets used for the annual Christmas cookie "marathon," so does not have enough use for this to be happening. :(

I bought this as a gift for my daughter. She had just gotten her new mixer and was excited to use the attachment since I love mine so much. However, it doesn't fit the Artisan tilt head mixer even though it's supposed to be for that model. My old flex edge beater fits both of our Artisan mixers. Could the new beater be defective? Isn't it a standard size? It's very frustrating. I can't recommend this product since it might not fit. I love the older version.

I am on my third, yes third beater. These suck. I really wish you would stop using the white coating. I have called customer service and no help at all. Love my mixer use it all the time. HATE HATE HATE this beater.
