I love using the flex edge beater! It evenly incorporates all of the ingredients without the need to stop the mixer and scrape the bowl. What a great tool!

I bought the tilt-head flex beater thinking I wouldn't have to stop so often to scrape the edges of the bowl. Which it does. But some of the dry ingredients get thrown out of the bowl when mixing. Also, the liquids you pour in will also be thrown out. Much more than with the regular beater. I stopped the mixer & stirred the ingredients together. This helped a great deal. I do have the plastic splatter guard for the top of the bowl. Which I will use next time. The guard should cut down on splatter.

The beater does a good job however after a couple months of use the enamel has chipped off the bottom. I don't like using this paddle because of this.

I could not do without my flex edge beater - definitely a must have for saving time and effort. Helps mix batters thoroughly as it scrapes the edge of the bowl. Easy clean up, too.
