I love KitchenAid and have a lot of their appliances. This chopper works just fine but I didn't give it 5 stars because it was a little difficult to figure out how to open/close the lid, turn it on, and what direction the bowl needs to go to lock it into place. Another reviewer had mentioned something similar to the difficulty of how to use it so I took time to figure it all out before washing it and using it.

Received this chopper as a birthday gift. Quieter than the one I had for 20 some odd years. Love the hideaway for the cord. Enjoying it very much!
