I thought at this price point, there would be a little more power. Also, when you stop mixing and turn it off, you have to start over adjusting up the speed. Pretty good for most hand mixing jobs, but I will still rely heavily on my stand mixer.

I subscribe to the Sally’s Baking Addiction website and noticed she used a KitchenAid hand mixer...I needed one so I purchased this one. I can’t believe how quiet and smooth running it is. I am thrilled with this purchase and hope to one day add the standing mixer to my baking collection!

I ordered this hand mixer online at a cost of $69.99 on "sale" from a major retailer. When I received it and unpacked the box I was very disappointed to say the least. The mixer is toy-like, too small, more suitable for a child that is just learning how to cook. I'm an experienced baker and use my Kitchen Aid stand mixer often but sometimes I'd prefer to use a good hand mixer. The the length of the beaters is inadequate and even on the highest speed, it's power doesn't compare to other hand mixers that I've used. Nothing about this mixer indicates to me that it is worth the price I paid. I've returned it to the retailer.

this is a great mixer -- it replaced a twenty year old kitchen aid 5-speed mixer and we're extremely happy with the replacement

I especially like the whisk. I can use it for instant pudding instead of whisking by hand for 2 minutes
