Bought this to replace KA stand mixer that burned out, did not want to drop $$$ again. Runs hot making simple buttercream frosting. Will prob burn out also. Not the legacy products of my grandmother. No others out there that can stand the heat, & I fear this will burn out soon.

My husband bought this for me - I love it! The whisk attachment is great -- increasing/decreasing speeds is smooth. Comfortable in hand and well balanced. It's everything I'd expect from Kitchen Aid
