I have had a large kitchenaid stand mixer for many years. While it is great for larger projects, it was just too large for my counter top and too large for just my husband and I. I purchased the Mini a few months ago and it is the best in size and looks great on my counter. I see no difference in the power between the two really and all of my attachments work on it except for the ice cream maker. I love Kitchenaid appliances and now I have nothing but Kitchenaid in my home. I have to say that I have had no problem with any of them.
