I finally purchased the Artisan Mini a month ago. After onlyl a few uses, I've decided I waited just a few too many decades to have one in my home. Love the compact size and especially the "paddle" attachment. Will add pasta attachment in the near future.

I am a big fan of homemade pastries and have spent many years making my own from scratch. As the years go by, my hands have become tired and kneading dough is not so much fun anymore and as a result I have turned to purchasing store bought pie and tart shells. I received a KitchenAid stand mixer as an early Christmas gift and thought I would use it for making home made Christmas treats this year. I was totally thrilled with this mixer! I couldn't believe how easy it was to use and how quickly it mixed up my pie dough! This KitchenAid stand mixer is definitely a keeper! I have it proudly displayed on my kitchen counter. I look forward to making my homemade pastries once again and giving my tired hands a break! Thank you KitchenAid! I definitely recommend this mixer to anyone young or old! This is by far the best Christmas gift ever!!
