This broke after 14 months. When you turn it on it makes a grinding noise and turns intermittently. We've reached out to Kitchenaid multiple times over several months, but apparently they can't find the order (I bought it on kitchenaid.ca), and refuse to do anything without an invoice, as if I'm trying to repair a fake mixer or something. Very frustrating. Luckily we still have our older tilt-head model which still works.

Love this mixer. Powers through everything I throw at it. The only downside, in my view, is that the bowl guard must be removed to use some of the kitchenaid attachments, such as the pasta press.
