It's built last. I mean, 'pass down to your grandchildren' built to last. (I speak from experience because my grandmother left it to me.) It stays right in place while it's in use...so you don't have to worry about it walking off the counter. It's powerful and makes the best dough, even the tough ingredients like sprouted wheat flour. I absolutely love it and I show it to every guest that visits my home. I recommend the Commercial Series to every home chef I know, and several have bought it and thanked me with the pasta, bread, cakes, sauces, meatballs, and doughs they've made. Recommending this model has been great for my diet! Haha. I've been eying the grain mill attachment since I got the mixer because I want to make my own flour, and I'd finally decided to buy it...then two days later my mixer was stolen. It's the only thing they took, so I must have told the wrong person about it and they just came to get it. I came here to check the current model number and to see how much money I'm going to have to save to buy a replacement. No longer having it is a major bummer and saving the money is going to take forever (single dad). It's worth it, though. I'm super looking forward to having one again!! The closest thing I have to a complaint is that it isn't available in KitchenAid's 'Espresso' (or some other dark brown) color. I think that would look even cooler than the red. (The red is pretty awesome and you know it's a KitchenAid from a mile away.) If you're here looking at it, then I assume you're considering purchasing one...and I totally recommend you do it. I can't imagine you being unhappy with it.

Best addition to my kitchen so far. It can handle anything smoothly and efficiently. I would recommend this for anyone who enjoys baking. The only complaint I might have is the chute is somewhat awkward to use. But the mixer more than makes up for that.

faulty speed switch. If I try to boost my speed it turns off. I have tried to reach out to the company 3 times and phones calls are never returned.
