I was hesitant about the 3.5 qt since my mom has a 6qt and uses hers all the time. My mom and all my sisters have refurbished KitchenAid Mixers so that was an easy decision for me. I have a small kitchen and don't bake nearly as much as she does so I figured, it was a logical decision. It's MUCH lighter than the 6qt and even though it's small, I made 4 dozen cookies in it just this past weekend! I've only used it twice but can tell it's going to get a lot of use!
