I bought this for my mother inlaw for Christmas. It's nice cause it's lighter weight and smaller size. She still likes making cookies and such and can't lift the reg sizi.
Love the smaller footprint

I bought this as a second mixer for a smaller residence. It works as well as the larger model. I just wish the bowl had a handle. I also bought one for my step daughter and she loves hers as well!
just like new

bought this through ebay - looks & works just like a new one. this is a splurge for me b/c i don't do a ton of baking but i've been coveting one for a while & when i saw i could get a refurbished one in the color i wanted (bright red) for much cheaper than new, i decided to take a chance. b/c these have such a good resputation, i figured a company-refurbished model would be just as good as a brand new one. i wanted the smallest version b/c i have a tiny kitchen & don't make large batches of anything so this is perfect. i was pleasantly surprised to find that the entire "utensil unit" itself moves around the bowl. i bought a flex-edge beater separately & will probably buy a top shield in the future to make mixing a little easier. it's working fine so far & i'm anticipating many years of satisfactory use in the future.
Love this machine!!
