I have been using the 5 quart Artisan for several years. However I needed the larger capacity as my family has grown. I was skeptical about buying a refurbished unit, but I needed to save some money. Boy, my new 7 quart bowl lift is wonderful! I’ve used it nearly every other day since I bought it and couldn’t be happier.

Overall I really like kitchenaid products esp the stand mixers. However with this one it tends to have a momentary pause when making bread with a 62% hydration. I don't know if this is a issue or not as I seem to get mixed answers. I'm having a few problems with support at the moment so I'll not go all the way into it until it's resolved.
