I bought the Artisan Series 5 quart TiltHead Stand Mixer so I could leave it on my cupboard. I have a 6 quart that I use but it’s a bit heavy to lift for beating egg whites or smaller cakes. I use the 6 qt for bread, grinding venison for hamburger, larger cakes, etc. but found I missed my smaller KitchenAid mixer. My original one (4 qt) that my husband bought for me in the early 80’s was given to our daughter a year after she married and he bought me another 4 quart mixer which we gave to our daughter-in-law and then he bought the 6 quart mixer. I missed the smaller mixer (I bake a lot) and truthfully the 6 quart was too big for my current baking for two. I have used the KitchenAid mixer since my Mom bought one in the early 60’s and I have always had great results with baking/cooking/grinding with KitchenAid. I also have a KitchenAid food processor and 5 speed hand mixer. I have never been disappointed with my KitchenAid products and have recommended them to others. Thank you for creating a great product!
