I've had the refurbished mixer since Nov 2nd and I've made 12 cheesecakes so far. It works like a charm. The only issue I've encountered is the flat beater attachment's white coating is chipping, but after searching the internet - this seems to be a common problem even with new, not refurbished models. Good thing I noticed it as it chopped into my batter. I had to toss it out :(. I chatted online with customer service and they have sent out a replacement with no hassle at all. I'm going to look into getting the silicone beater attachment eventually.

Excellent condition; would never know it was refurbished. I was concerned when it initially arrived. The outer box had no markings but the inside KitchenAid box had a "This Side Up" arrow...and the box was upside down. The outer box really should be marked to avoid damage in shipping. The motor makes a strange noise if turned off from a high speed too quickly. I contacted customer service and learned that going from 10 to 0 in a second is a bad idea. LOL So now I turn it off slowly. I use this to shred boiled chicken breasts, mash fruit for jam/muffins as well as regular baking. I can't wait to get attachments now!

Love all the features and attachments. There is nothing you can NOT do in the kitchen with the Artisan KitchenAid. LOVE IT!!!
