This was a great toaster for a while. Then the cheap plastic lever broke, replacements are available but it will break again. Then sitting at about 4 years of service, it doesnt get very hot anymore. Toaster waffles take 7+minutes to get a slight tan on.

I recently had to put a KitchenAid toaster to pasture. Considering I had it for over 12 years, I can certainly rely on this one to take its place. Also, it’s aesthetically pleasing to the eyes and looks great on my kitchen counter.

I purchased this toaster about a month ago and have tried different breads on different settings and it either burns the bread or barely toast it. I have several KitchenAid products that I am extremely happy with but this toaster is a very big disappointment.
