Needed to get a replacement since heating elements did not always work correctly. Replacement process was easy. Some of the new features are not clear as to what they actually do.

This toaster is great and so easy to use. I can now toast my wide/long bread with no problems and looks cool on my counter! It is a real conversation starter.

I love KitchenAid products so when my plain old steel colored KitchenAid went to the great toaster, I knew I had to have another one. Since I have limited counter space, I keep my toaster in a drawer. This slim, long 2-slice fits perfect in the drawer. The lift and a bit longer toasting buttons are great when everyone in the house likes their toast or waffles toasted differently. Love the defrost setting. The cost was better online.

Nice toaster but the lever for darkness of toast is right next to the lever to lower the toast. Be careful or you adjust the darkness when you push the bread down. we will get used to it!
