The original LG water filters make the water taste 10X better than those cheaper offbrand filters. I tried them and can attest to that fact Stick with LG originals you cant go wrong.

I bought this product directly because the store I normally purchase it from did not have it in stock and did not know when they were going to receive any. I dont normally do that but it needed to be changed. I was not worth the COST to include the delivery time. I also wanted to be put on the auto renewal for free shipping but the site would not load all of my information.

I bought a 3-pack to use with my LFX25961SW refrigerator - this is the recommended filter - and they no longer fit which is confusing since it is the recommended model. Id prefer not using an off-brand filter but they fit.

I have tried both the LG brand filter listed as the correct part and generic filters that also are listed as compatible. Neither fit anymore. We had purchased a 3 page 2 years ago and we are down to our last filter and cant find a replacement. Whatever redesign happened didnt account for older models still needing filters.
