I absolutely love this ice maker. It makes nice, fresh, clean ice. Having to take the ice bucket out to fill the water reservoir was a little of a pain. In comes the side tank. Now I can just fill this and away it goes. More water too. It was super easy to hook up and even easier to use. If you’re going to get the ice machine, the side tank is a MUST have.

The side tank is so easy to assemble to your ice maker. You do need to watch it to ensure it has enough water to keeps up with your needs. If we had a lot of people at the house we needed to refill it every couple of hours to ensure we had enough ice. we don't normally have large crowds so it held up well for us.

The GE Profile Opal Nugget Ice Maker 2.0 with Side Tank Accessory works really well. The side tank is very helpful for the ice maker to continue making ice for hours. The side tank is very easy to remove and refill without disrupting the ice maker.

I used this for my Opal Nugget Ice Maker, it added the capacity needed for my dinner party. I love how easy it was to connect and it pops off with ease for refill no need to disconnect from the machine to do so. It is lightweight and slim design. Looks very high end, so glad this is thought of by Nugget Ice-Maker . Very well made and functions well!

Our family of 5 uses ice from our GE Profile Opal Nugget Ice Maker constantly. This side tank is a must have for the convenience it offers. It allows you to refill the tank without having to take out the ice tray and holds so much more water that we are not having to refill the main tank multiple times a day.
