I bought this item 6 months ago when we moved into our new home it worked for 30 days. It then started leaking like crazy. It was never over filled. GE sent a refurbished unit to replace it, that unit just circulated water and didn’t produce ice. They then replaced that unit, which worked for 2 hours then started circulating water continuously and melts all the ice in the bin. I’m very disappointed with this item. I’m also very disappointed with the service as it takes almost 2 months each time to get a replacement. Not happy. Waste of $600.
