So far I've only had this freezer for a month, but it has performed well. Even though it has been super hot out, the freezer does not run all the time like my old one did, so it must have much better insulation on it. Plus, an alarm goes off it if gets too hot. Very easy to level and start to use. Received excellent reviews from Consumer Reports!

The unit keeps the temperature within 2 degrees of the set temperature. The door magnets are very strong and the unit warns you when the door is open.
