Side by side configuration is optimal for me. Freezer compartment is easy to find frozen food. Refrigerator shelves can be repositioned, water dispenser has convenient water collector at the bottom and digital temperature setting is handy.

We love our new side-by-side refrigerator in slate. The color doesn’t show finger prints. Easy to get to water filter. Perfect size for our needs, only two people in household.

Can here water dripping but cannot locate drip. Makes loud rackety sound at times. ICE shoots out from dispenser, ICE falls out of bucket into freezer

I seacrhed for a refridgerator that fit my current opening without me modifying it too much. I did shrink the height of my over-the-fridge cabinet. The ice maker and water dispenser was a nessityI searched for a refrigerator that fit my current opening without me modifying it too much. I did shrink the height of my over-the-fridge cabinet. The ice maker and water dispenser were a necessity. The GE was the only one I could find that fit my needs. The Slate finish is a perfect fit with the rest of my new kitchen with my GE Profile 18” dishwasher and the wonderful slide-in GE gas Range. I’m very satisfied.
