The ice maker is very slow in making ice, but other then that gets very cold both in freezer and refridgerator.

It's so nice to have a refrigerator that is not made out of aluminum and is therefore easy to clean (no streaks). It's also nice to have an icemaker.

To be honest, now that Sears is gone, I struggled to replace my 2002 Kenmore fridge. It was quiet efficient and had controls for freezer and cabinet. This GE was best I could find in a normal size and cost. It’s noisy and feels cheaper, w only one control. Wonder if it will last as long.

This refrigerator arrived with a dent in the door. Still waiting to hear from GE whether they will replace door or give me some money back. Waiting over a month. Otherwise, this unit suits my needs but is noisy. Thankfully I can close the door to room where it is housed.
