I bought this unit 8 months ago and the freezer has a strong chemical odor and is permeating the food resulting it to be thrown away. lags response has been non existent and only promises of calls that dont happen. Buyer beware

We have had our refrigerator for a few months. My wife loves the door handles. There are none. Nothing to catch as you walk by. The drawers are sturdier than other models we have seen and the vent adjustments are on the shelf above. Less chance of being damaged. I miss the freezer light our old refrigerator had. The fridge light does not illuminate as well as our old fridge. My wife would have liked a meat drawer. There is none. When the fridge arrived I attempted to switch the door swing. No problem moving the doors but the leveling foot is integrated into the lower door hinge. I moved the hinge from right to left but could not unscrew the left side foot from the fridge so I could move it to the right side. I called lg and was told to talk to the store I purchased the fridge from. The delivery people stopped by and gave up on the problem. A salesman from the store Lowes took a leveling foot off a floor model and gave it to me the store is 90 miles away. I had to ream out the bolt hole to get the foot started in the hole and work it in slowly. I think the spray foam used to insulate the fridge had gotten into both bolt holes and caused issues wit h sticking bolts. We like the fridge but it is not perfect and took several weeks to make it functional.

I bought the LG refrigerator about a month ago. Not enough time to really tell how it will do in the long run but it cools really well. The freezer seems larger than my previous refrigerator which was about the same size. I am used to two things I wish this refrigerator had: a bottom shelf on the door and a meat drawer. I am satisfied with the purchase.

I wanted a good basic refrigerator and this satisfies. It works well is designed well and has a relatively small footprint for its internal space. Its quiet except for occasional whimpering noises which are soft but odd. My only disappointment is that it doesnt have a freezer light. I didnt realize internal lights werent standard so it wasnt a feature I was looking for but its pretty obvious that its missing. Also a bit disappointing that the optional ice maker appears to be unavailable anywhere.

Reversing the doors

Fridge was good until we reversed the doors. Relying on guidance meant we missed a critical detail. During a redo of the door install it was discovered that a washer had to be better positioned and the middle hinge pin had to be removed from its frame and inverted.
