We were in the middle of a whole house re plumb due to three leaks within a few months, when we smelled gas coming from our cooktop. The plumbing job, which was supposed to take less than a week was now into its third week, so discovering the cooktop leaking gas added to our already stressed lives. This was right before Thanksgiving, which we host. We had to act quickly, yet economically, so we went online and found a perfect cooktop at South Bay Appliance. Vincent, at South Bay Appliance, took the measurements of our current cooktop and found that it would fit into our current space with very little adjustments. Within a week we had a beautiful new cooktop installed! Our son, who is exceptional in the kitchen, and somewhat of a "brand name" snob, LOVED our new cooktop. He feels it's as good, if not better than the much higher priced versions he's familiar with. I don't usually cook much, but lately I find myself making excuses to use my new Frigidaire cooktop. Now we are measuring our space to replace our old double wall oven with a new Frigidaire. I wish I'd known Frigidaire was such an outstanding product when we remodeled our kitchen 20 years ago! I like it much more than the pricier products I had installed at that time.
