We really only bought a new stove so that all of our appliances would match. I had no idea what a difference there would be between this stove and our 24-year-old stove that was still working. Things seem to cook more quickly thanks to being able to choose which size burner to use. And the flame is more even, which makes cooking with my clay pots more efficient and less damaging to the pot. I like the middle burner. And the griddle, used according to the instructions (not over that middle burner), works beautifully. Because its summer here I haven't used the oven yet, but I'm sure we will get a lot of use out of the top oven. It seems perfect for 2 people. I only chose the double oven because it looks so cool. If you host a lot of big dinners I'm sure it would come in quite handy. The biggest downside to this stove for me is the absence of a workspace. I have no counter near my stove and there is no place to even lay down a spoon on the stove. The grates are also heavy and tricky to remove. And the area around the burners is not easy to get clean; things seems to really stick, and I'm afraid of scratching the surface. I've only had this stove for a month, but overall, I am happy with my choice.

Everything works great but design of the back of the oven needs to change to better accommodate gas lines and valves that protrude from the wall. By not having a sufficient back indentation it prevents the range from being able to back up to the wall. This creates a space between the edge of the backsplash and the back of the oven. It also causes the oven to protrude from the edge of the cabinets which makes it unsightly from the side view.

This is an awesome stove - it works very well, and it looks great in my kitchen. For the first time in the 13 years that I have lived in my house, I can cook without worrying that my oven temperature will set off the smoke detector!!
