This has so many great features. The best is that I can remove the cup and blade to completely wash it out. Other grinders can only be wiped clean and the residual taste of many different types of coffee is left behind. The added fact that this is also a spice grinder is a fantastic bonus.

I received this in the mail and could not wait to try it out. It truly holds up to the KitchenAid brand I know and love. It is so much nicer to have fresh spices vs the store bought stuff in a jar.

I have used this product for just over a week and am pleased to report on it's performance. I happened to have some dried rosemary seeds in my spice cabinet and decided to grind them down to use in a spare shaker. In just moments the job was done. The container that I ground them in is self contained and there was no mess to clean up. It worked just as well with peppercorns. I usually use a burr grinder for my coffee beans as blade grinders usually get very hot while grinding. Not so with the KitchenAid Coffee and Spice Grinder. It perfectly ground my coffee beans and they didn't get overcooked and acidic. This item is super easy to set up and use. Having the extra cups makes it easy to grind and store in the same container. You can even use one as a shaker. Great product at a great price.
