I purchased last my new kitchen aid last Christmas and the beater has began chipping paint at the tip. Is there a metal version as I don't want another coated one.

Enamel Chipping off of paddle

I love my mixer but am disappointed that the enamel is chipping off of the paddle attachment! I don't feel good about using it anymore and don't want to spend the money to get a new one. I'm so careful to make sure it doesn't touch the side and I'm just not sure why it's happening. Is there anything that can be done?

I love my mixer and use it a lot. The problem is that the coating on the Flat Beater is coming off. Will this effect my food?

I have followed directions and increased the distance so it doesn't hit bowl, but it flaked more. Also, there should be a page in the manual that easily shows the model number of flat beater. Mixer is fine.
