As mentioned by other reviewers with in months of use my beater began to chip and flake This also happened to my dough hook in a similar time frame. This occurred even though I was cautious about how I stored it. I would not recommend purchasing this style in either product.

Same enamel chipping problem as the rest. On both my Beater and dough hook. I'm not sure who got to eat the crunchy piece of enamel, but I don't want to use this again.

The tip of my mixer blade has chipped off. I really like to bake and this has put a real damper on my baking!

This is the third time I have had to replace this beater. Isn't it sad that the beater doesn't match the quality of the mixer. Why don't they make a stainless steel beater. One shouldn't have to worry about the coating coming off when you are mixing up food - companies have to do recalls over that type of problem. When can we expect a good quality upgrade?

I love my kitchenaid mixer. But I have replaced the beater blade 3 times and now I need another one. This mixer is the best but the blades are not.. can you replace one for me?
