I bought this 2 yrs ago.The plastic attacment at the base of the unit literally just snapped off! I purchsed this in 2017, The model number however showed it was a 2014 model so I had to hunt down my receipt. Which wasn't hard to do since I bought it online and had access to my invoices. However The service agent made me feel awful said I should contact the company I purchased it from even though they originally sent me to kitchenaid. Kitchenaid said there was nothing they could do since the mixer was so old. I said I didn't buy it in 2014. She had that tone that made me feel defensive, like I was lying. I was so upset. I called the company I got it from, they were surprised by my treatment by kitchenaid and after I sent them pictures of the issue they gave me a full refund. Do not expect hassle free returns from Kitchenaid. I thought there customer service was terrible. Even if webstrauntstore.com didn't refund me a penny there customer service was so great I would not have cared. The service agent was kind, made me feel listened too, and was willing to find me options to get back up and running.
