Having recently taken over kitchen duties, I upgraded from a 45 year old, tired, but still-functioning, hand-mixer and am pleasantly surprised by the streamlined appearance, the power and especially the balance - with the swiveling power-cord being a thoughtful bonus! I received this as a gift. It has a lot of power with many settings. I was concerned at first with the style of beaters, but they blend great and are easy to clean. When in use, it is quiet which was not the case with my old hand mixer. I am very happy with my new mixer.
