This hand mixer is the second one I have had from KitchenAid. The previous one was purchased 30 years ago and still works, but the cord had become unwrapped from the cord covering. I am 69 yrs old, so can only hope this new mixer lasts the next 30 years! Absolutely love this new hand mixer. The whisk attachment is awesome for whipping egg whites. The appliance is so quiet. Also have a KitchenAid stand mixer that I have had for over 15 years, which I absolutely love. KitchenAid appliances are the best!

I had a list of items I wanted to upgrade in our kitchen, as I implemented a plan to make our kitchen more efficient. I purchased the high-shine red one. I didn’t want a large stand mixer but I wanted one that was powerful enough to mix dough. This one does the job. It has four sets of beaters with a nice storage bag. The beaters are easy to put in and eject out with a push of a larger button. I also love that the chord locks to the left or right out of your way while using. I’m not for sure why the company doesn’t make a chord that detaches and puts away. I don’t like having to wrap up a chord on any appliance. Great addition to our kitchen. This one will NOT be going back.

I wanted the hand mixer for jobs that doesn't require me lugging out my candy apple red stand mixer from storage. I love that the handmixer comes with attachments and a storage bag. What a pleasure this little workhorse is. I'm especially impressed that the lower settings allow me to mix and keep the ingredients in the bowl versus all over me and the kitchen countertop!

Absolutely love this mixer. Has a lot of power and handles cookie dough very well attachments are good for meringues and whipping cream as well as smoothies with the blender stick! The BEST

When buying this mixer, I thought it perhaps had too many extra features to justify its increased cost. But after using it for several weeks now, I'm glad I spent the extra money for it. The speeds are greatly variable making it easy to decide whether to whip egg whites or cream appropriately or to use the dough hooks for mixing a smaller bunch of bread dough. The grandkids love it for making chocolate milk or milk shakes with the stirring attachments which gets more than its normal use. The variable speed control takes a bit of experience to get use to or fully employ, but after a couple of uses, it's found to be a real plus. Would recommend it for the frequent baker or cook or the weekending neophyte.
