I had my KitchenAid handmixer for many many years and absolutely loved it! I was thrilled when my daughter presented me with a new one in which I had requested since mine was so old and one of the beaters were slightly bent. I have to say that I am disappointed, thus the three star instead of five. The manner in which you turn it on is almost backwards and the only way to turn it off is the same. Once you turn it on it always starts in a very low speed and you have to push and up button for it to graduate to a higher speed, fromhere youmay turn it off but once you turn it back on, it comes on at a very low speed and you have to push the up button usually several times for the speed of which you were at previously(say you had to pause the mixing). Also, I noticed that the body material is a more hollow sounding plastic. Super disappointed. I told my family I wouldn’t have anything less than another Kitchenaid. Hmm...

I have been shopping for a hand mixer for a while. I finally decided on this one. It has a nice balance weight, does an excellent job of mixing and I like the feature that keeps the cord out of my way. I have to say, I made the right choice!

This is the best hand mixer I’ve ever used! This is my third one in 5 years. I bake for a living. So I use it several times a day! I love my stationary 5 quart mixer too. Kitchen Aid is the best and they stand behind their products. Thank you!
