I’ve been looking at buying a KitchenAid stand mixer for years. I finally did and it is a joy to use. I’ve made cookies, cakes, and bread with it. It works just as I had hoped. I particularly liked using it for bread. The kneading hook did a better job than I did with kneading. My husband also mentioned that it is quieter than the hand mixer I usually use.
