I bought this mixer this summer. I am still learning how to use it. I probably will never use the dough hook. The only thing I do not like about it is that it is pretty heavy. It makes wonderful angel food cakes! The main beater does get most of the batter so I do not have to use the rubber scraper very much. I have never seen a beater that moves around like that. I wish there was a smaller bowl too. When I made frosting I did not want to use the big bowl.
