Love my new mixer!

My son gave this to me as a gift because he knew I would be baking for the holidays. My old mixer was a wedding gift from 1983. I have only made one cake with it so far but it turned out better than it ever had. I had not purchased a KitchenAid mixer before because I didn't think it would fit on my counter but the Mini one does!
Great addition to my kitchen

I love my mixer so far, I made the best pasta I ever had. I can't wait to save up for more attachments.

I brought the mixer to replace a 30-year old standard Kitchen Aid Mixer and being recently retired, didn't feel like I needed a larger mixer. In addition, the mixer fits better on the kitchen counter in my condo. I like the design and color. I've only used it twice (for a pound cake and quick bread). Both times the mixer worked fine but I feel it was maxed out with the heavy doughs. I miss the larger bowl and bigger flat beater from my old mixer. During the holidays, I make several types of cookies so that will be the true test for the mixer.
Worth the wait!

I wanted to downsize from my big Kitchen Aid stand mixer (that is still going strong after 13 years) when I moved recently, so I ordered this Artisan Mini 3.5 quart tilt head in the silver (platinum). I ordered it early September and I finally received it early October. I knew in advance of the delay so will not take stars off for this. This mixer is beautiful, heavy but very manageable. If you use a mixer frequently but not for huge batches of anything, this is a perfect stand mixer. Though it is described as "mini", don;t let this fool you. This is a nice sized mixer. Runs perfect, mixes very well, easy to adjust, tilt head, and locking bowl with handle. I am looking forward to ordering attachments to get the fresh pasta going (easier than doing by hand!) Absolutely worth the wait but a little pricier than I initially thought it would be worth, however, seeing as my big KA stand mixer has lasted so many years, this is a great investment as I use it very often.
Love it!

Had a full size 5 quart KitchenAid Artisan for 16 years and loved it. Having shoulder issues made it difficult to move this mixer and being my kids are grown and moved away I I don’t really need that big of a mixer. the Artisan Mini is just what I needed! Same great machine just smaller and a whole lot lighter to move around.
